Pattern for knitted sweater for children
A children's sweater in a classic cable pattern. It will likely become a wardrobe favorite, as it can be worn for both everyday and special occasions. It is thin and comfortable to wear thanks to thin yarn and thin needles.
The Alva mini sweater is knitted top-down in a classic cable pattern. First, the back piece is knitted. Stitches are picked up for the shoulders, and the left and right front pieces are knitted separately and then joined at the neck. The front and back pieces are joined under the arms, and the body is knitted in the round on circular needles and finished with ribbing. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and knitted in the round with decreases. These are also finished with ribbing.
