Eliah's Pearl Sweater

A warm sweater with saddle shoulders that is perfect for use during the winter months. The sweater has a slightly wider fit. The beautiful, but simple, pearl pattern means that the sweater can be used for both everyday and party wear. It matches Vanessa's pearl pants perfectly.

The piece is worked top down. First, the piece is worked back and forth to create a small opening in the neck, while increasing the front and back pieces. Then the piece is joined and worked in the round. When the increases for the front and back pieces are complete, increase the sleeves. Then the piece is divided so that the body and sleeves are worked separately.

Sizes: 0–3 (3-6) 6–9 (9-12) 12–18 months
Gauge: 22 sts on 10 cm in moss stitch, on 4mm needles after washing
Knitting suggestion: Circular needle 4 mm, (60 cm + possibly 40 cm for small sizes) and circular needle 3.5 mm
(60cm + possibly 40 cm), and possibly double pointed needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm for sleeves
unless magic loop is used.

Accessories: 2 buttons for the opening in the neck
