Leah Cardigan

Leah cardigan is a cardigan with a v-neck and leaf-patterned sleeves. An addition to Leah
collection In adult size. Suitable to wear open, closed, with jeans or over
dress. Just as you wish.

Leah cardigan is knitted top down with raglan increases. The cardigan is knitted back and forth on circular needle. The front and back are knitted in stocking stitch while the sleeves form a beautiful leaf pattern. The work is divided for the sleeves and body and they are all knitted separately. The body is finished with a wide rib and Italian cast-off. The sleeves are knitted in the round on circular needle in a textured pattern and also finished with rib and Italian cast-off. The buttonholes are knitted last by picking up stitches starting on the right front piece, all the way around the neck and down to the left front piece. Then double knit with buttonholes over those stitches.

Gauge: 22 sts/10 cm in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles.

Knitting suggestions: Circular needle 4 mm (40+80 cm) Circular needle 3.5 mm (60 cm) + double pointed needles 3.5 mm.
Materials: 250 (250-300) 300 (350) 400 (400) grams Alpaca from Drops (50g = 167m) together with 100 (125) 125 (150) 150 (150) grams Kid silk from Drops. (25g = 210 m)
Accessories: 4 buttons.
