Linnea mittens are perfect as winter mittens, and even better together with Linnea neck warmer and Linnea hat. Since they are knitted from the fingertips upwards, it is really easy to adjust the length so that they fit the user's hands perfectly. The mittens are cast on with Judy's magic cast on, and knitted in the round from the fingertips upwards and the Linnea pattern over the front piece. The thumb is also cast on with Judy's magic cast on and knitted in the round to the correct length. Then the work is joined and knitted in the round with decreases on the inside of the hand. Finally, the rib is knitted.
The mittens have a fairly tight fit. Knit a larger size if you want a slightly larger mitten.
