May the top

The perfect top for all summer parties. The top is a shorter model that can be used with a skirt or high-waisted pants. The May top is knitted from the bottom up in stocking stitch. The top is first knitted in the round, and then knitted back and forth when the work is divided into front and back pieces. The left and right shoulder sections are sewn/knitted together separately. Finally, stitches are picked up around the neck opening and the ruffle is knitted.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL
Gauge: 26 stitches in stocking stitch on 10 cm, on 3 mm needles
Knitting suggestion: Circular needle 2.5 mm, (60 cm or 80 cm for the larger sizes) and circular needle 3 mm (60 cm or 80 cm)
Yarn: 200 (250) 250 (300) 300 grams Lille Lerke from Dale yarn.
Yarn alternatives: Sandnes Mandarin Petit, Filcolana Merci, Schachenmayr Catania NOTE! The amount of yarn and the knitting tension may vary slightly when changing yarn!

NOTE: Since cotton yarn has a tendency to expand with use, the top will expand. The above measurements will therefore be slightly larger after use. The top has a negative range of motion, the above measurements are smaller than the measurement you get when measuring yourself.
