The Matteus jumpsuit is knitted from the top down. First, you knit back and forth to form the button placket at the neck. The piece is then gathered into a ring and knitted in the round with raglan increases. The sleeves are placed on a rest stitch and the torso and crotch gusset are then knitted separately, and then the legs are finished separately. Finally, the sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch.
