A practical pair of trousers knitted from the bottom up in a simple but beautiful seed stitch. These trousers are perfect for the cold winter months. If you take a little extra care to attach the threads invisibly, you can wear them both ways.

Sizes: 1–3 (6–9) 12–18 months (2–3) 4–5 (6–7) years
Gauge: 22 sts on 10 cm in seed stitch, on 4mm needles after washing
Knitting suggestions: Circular knitting needles 4 mm, (60 cm + possibly 40 cm for small sizes) and circular knitting needles 3.5 mm (60 cm + possibly 40 cm), and possibly double pointed needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm for legs if magic loop is not used.
Material: 150 (150) 150 (200) 250 (250) grams Merino Extra Fine from Drops (50g = 105m) OR Merino wool from Sandnes garn (50g = 105m)
Yarn option: Lima from Drops (NB! Pay attention to the knitting tension)
Accessories: Elastic waistband
Width: 19 (21) 22 (25) 26 (28) cm, measured at the waist
